Telework in the United States: Telework America Survey 2001
The influence of working at home on productivity is important to organizations considering the move to telework. Many managers fear that performance will decline when workers are away from the workplace. Over seventy percent (72.4%) reported that working at home slightly or greatly increased their productivity; 19.5% reported that productivity remained the same; and 6.5% reported that their productivity slightly decreased since working at home.
