This April webinar is the first of four webinars in 2003 as part of ITAC's Telework America Webinar Series. Telework America is an educational and promotional initiative by ITAC directed to helping businesses and organizations enable their employees to work from anywhere, i.e. telework. In addition to Webinars, ITAC Telework America intiatives in 2003 includes the April 28th publication of its Telework America 2002 Survey Report. The title is "Teleworking Comes of Age with Broadband."

Our webinar series is made possible through the conferencing services of MCI (http://e-meetings.mci.com). For the second year in a row MCI has agreed to sponsor all four of this year's Telework America Webinar series. Therefore members of ITAC and its association partners can attend this webinar for free as there is no registration fee.

From the convenience of your office using your phone and Internet connection, our April 22nd webinar will provide you with tips from our telework pros about managing at a distance. The #1 concern most managers raise: "How can I tell they're working if I can't see them?" With many managers having been trained and rewarded for many years to practice "eyeball management," our presenters will explain how and why "remote management" is about practicing "good management done remotely."

This webinar is only available to ITAC members and the members of ITAC association partners SHRM and Metropolitan Work/Life Coalition.

ITAC members can register through the ITAC members-only web site. SHRM and Work/Life Coalition members should have registration information available from their respective associations -- either in an e-mail notice or their members-only web site. If you are having difficulty registering, please contact Lynsey at [email protected].
